Description

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail is a 5.5-mile, moderately trafficked out-and-back trail located near the bath house district that features a running creek and is good for all skill levels.

The trail is primarily used for walking, running, nature trips, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Class 1 e-bikes ARE allowed (pedal assist only), no class 2 or 3 bikes.

During this ride, you'll encounter the history of the railroad through old bridges and tracks, you'll see a Monarch butterfly garden, various pieces of art and sculptures and you'll weave back and forth across the Hot Springs creek over wooden bridges.

There's various points of parking along this trail as well as a vault toilet about midway through. We parked at the area near the Farmers Market and Veteran Memorial and road to the end of the path.

The trail does keep going for another 0.5 miles or so but it turns to single lane and dirt. It was very grown over so we opted to turn around and ride back. There's the oldest Hot Springs distillery (and the only one allowed to continue to make moonshine) along this trail as well as a really good bakery.
