Overview

The Cedar Glades Park Loop is extremely fast, with technical descents. There's one long climb filled with switchbacks, which is roughly 4% grade or more in some sections totaling a little more than half a mile.

There are lots of creek crossings with plenty of rocks and roots. Some of the descents have high berms which make the descent fast and safer.

Need to Know

Bring your climbing legs and be prepared for fast descents.

Description

There are three major climbs on this loop. The first one is in the first mile and is not too bad except the corner leading into it can be slick or wet. The second major climb occurs around mile 4. It's a pretty consistent climb with lots of switchbacks. Once at the top, the descent is loose with rocks and extremely fast. The third major climb occurs around mile 8. This last major climb is short but can be climbed very fast. This final section is smooth with lots of flow and wide turns to carry the momentum through.

There are lots of creek crossings, all capable of being ridden.

Perfect conditions today! As others have said, bring your climbing legs and cardio fitness. Wonderful flow and wide corridors. A gem! 8mi — 1h 30m

Great trail for beginners with nothing technical but a trail that really flows. There are a couple uphills to get your blood pumping but nice downhill 3mi
