Description

Up and down the ridge, this fire road isn't ever too steep and is usually well-maintained. Generally ridden west-to-east, Oliver Canyon Road in conjunction with the BP&L Road is a great way to loop the Doc Larsen Trail and/or get from Little Tujunga to Big Tujunga on dirt. Since the western end of Ebey Herreres Truck Trail is not well-maintained, this road (again, with BP&L) is also a pleasant alternative when climbing Yerba Buena Ridge via 3N30. On its way to Larsen Saddle, this road also passes the top of Doty Road, providing access to the top of Rattlesnake Trail, local historical viewpoint The Hog Farm, and the bottom of Ebey Canyon Trail.
