Description

This fire road climbs through a mix of aspens and conifers away from Smith Creek Trail #225 and back up to get to your car at the bottom of Ape Canyon Trail. It's not terribly steep, but the trail throws a pretty consistent barrage of 2-6 inch logs to rolls over. When wet, these logs are really slick and may require a bit more attention than you'd think.
