Description

This is mostly ridden as a downhill trail north to south. It is an old hiking trail open to mountain bikes, and as such, it's fairly straight. The first half is fast descending through conifers on loose decomposed granite aka "DG". There is a nice shaded oak section 2/3 of the way down.

This is the middle part of the Southridge Trail, as the upper part is mostly in wilderness (closed to mountain bikes). However, the Lower Southridge is open to mountain bikes and is a hoot to ride.
