The Bottoms Start (like the rest of the Bottoms section) is a tight and fairly technical section of singletrack. This portion of the track is flatter than a lot of the trail, but makes up for elevation with plenty of switchbacks and tight root-filled turns. Bottoms Start is especially difficult when wet.

The trail starts with a flat section by the practice sports fields before it drops into the forest for a bumpy ride. Be sure to keep your speed up near the end of the trail to make it over the hump at the playground. Stay straight after the hump to go into TTT (orange loop) or hang a left to continue to Grass Lands and follow the white/red trail.
