Description

Big Timber starts near the intersection of Explorer Lodge Trail and Hammer Creek Trail and blasts along the side of the valley before finally dropping down to eventually meet Sharp Valley Trail.

Minor rocks and roots are present on the first half, but the second half has more pronounced 6-8" drops before the trail turns sharply left, where more pronounced drops and rocks abound. The trail passes the starting point of North Valley Trail before turning left, crossing a bridge, and ending at Sharp Valley Trail.

Note: At one point, it passes across a doubletrack; continue straight. The doubletrack leads downhill to a food plot clearing, and no other trails leave it...it is a sucker hole!
