Description

Access the Limestone Connector #109A at the trailhead just off US 60 with the trail beginning at a swinging bridge crossing Triplett Creek. There is also a low water crossing for the warmer months.

The swinging bridge is very narrow, too narrow for handlebars, so it takes a little finagling - but don't worry, this is explicitly designated on the USFS map as a bike trail.

If you start at the trailhead off US 60, this is almost 100% uphill to the top of the ridge where the connector meets the Sheltowee Trace at Limestone Trail #109 (Sheltowee Trace Section 100:8). This ride was mapped out after a snow but it appeared to be mostly doubletrack trail with some singletrack here and there.

I rated this trail as easy/intermediate because there aren't any technical, tight sections. However, on the endurance side of things, this would be a real bear of an uphill slog but a great, fun, fast downhill if heading back toward Triplett Creek.
