As trails go, they don't get any prettier. This gorgeous creekside trail starts at the bottom of "Nun's Corner" on Highway 475. Very soon into the trail, you have the option of climbing the Burn Trail 399 north or continuing west down the Little Tesuque.

Before long, you'll run into another fork in the trail. Here, you can take the lesser known Carol's Trail up and over the ridge and down to the Winsor Trail. If not, you'll eventually get to the base of the La Piedra Trail, which climbs up to the Dale Ball Trail Network.
