I rode this trail clockwise starting at Marker C. You'll pass Marker D (after 1.5 miles), E (after 1.8 miles) and then back to C after 2.7 miles.

Starting from C, you'll immediately see why the Forest Service calls this the Rocky Ridge Loop. It is the most challenging riding that Little Blakely has to offer, if not the most challenging riding around Lake Ouachita.

Don't be surprised if you have to get off your bike a few times to walk some sections (maybe you can clean it next time!). You'll be going downhill (other than a couple short, steep sections) with views of the lake through most of the rock garden, and will bottom out after about two miles.

You'll then have a nice, sustained climb on an old dirt road for a little less than one mile. Be sure to take a right at the top of the road to get back into the singletrack and continue back to the top of the ridge and to marker C.
