Not a good place to ride after rain. Extremely muddy.

Description

The Hawk Canyon Rim Trail is a really fun trail, smooth and winding, that takes you through a short grassland vegetation. There is a pretty vista point halfway through that looks down into Hawk Canyon.

You can start it from either end, but you do get more downhill if you start under the electric tower of North West Edison Road. The trail cuts through the Western Plateau Trail, so watch you speed since there are many hikers and horses on that trail.
