Description

Thje trail starts just inside the Lake Scott State Park entrance at Barrel Springs. The initial trail is shaded singletrack that turns into doubletrack. Expect to see deer and turkey depending on the time of day. The trail parallels the paved road that goes around lake with many different lake and rock formation views. The trail is available for horseback riding, mountain biking, and walking/running.

Trail main rut is deep in some areas, multiple pedal drags. Multiple times I had to stop and clear tumbleweeds from the trail. 7.2mi

Rode 3 laps, fun trail, seems to have more flow in the clockwise direction but saw riders riding in the counterclockwise direction also. 21mi — 2h 00m
