The trail starts out from the archway reading "Happy Trail" and follows the Claire Trail for a few yards through the stone wall before taking a sharp left and following along the stone wall. From here, the trail turns right and heads downhill over a small rock drop and descends steeply to a series of wooden ramps over a large boulder. This feature does have a ride-around.

From there, the trail continues to a pyramid ramp over a downed tree and then passes through a stone wall. Turning right, it descends along a drainage before turning into the woods. Continue up a quick climb and then look for the option of a small wooden drop that leads you through a stone wall to a carriage road. The carriage road brings you out to the disc golf course.

From here, the trail follows the disc golf course before taking a left at the basket for hole number three and then heads out behind the center field fence on the baseball field. Here, you'll find another small drop and entrance back into the woods. The trail becomes a singletrack for a few hundred yards before again joining up with the disc golf course.

The exit is at the kiosk alongside the access road to the school. A left will take you up to the school and the entrance to Heartbreak Hill; a right will take you towards the entrance to the Railroad Trail.
