Description

The upper third of this trail is a fire road but turns to singletrack once you reach the campground entrance. Keep left, and the trail starts just past the dumpsters running parallel to the paved road.

Cross the paved road in a short distance and look for the trail to the right, directly north. From here, the trail follows the ridge just north of the campgrounds under the canopy of oaks and a eucalyptus grove before rejoining Marciel Road and the start of Honker Bay Trail.
