Description

Proceeding east from the parking lot at the reservoir and onto and old FS Road (3N14), continue around the lake and the trail starts running along the banks of the South Fork of the Stanislaus River for a beautiful ride through some amazing country. This first portion of the route is flat, and you'll mostly be cruising on the doubletrack route. Take you time to enjoy the scenery! The grade gets a little steeper and the tread more challenging near the intersection with Fraser Flat Rd.

To continue on to Strawberry, follow the road left for approximately half a mile, before turning right onto the trail. The junction is located just before the bridge, so if you've hit the bridge you've gone too far.
