Description

There's more than one way to get to the fun on Fatcrobat. Either start from just after the "Triple Hump" on In Deep or take the easier Fatcrobat Connector off of Blue Velvet. The second option is the shorter of the two, but it's nice to have a choice. From the top of the trail riders will find some good tech that's easier than what's found on In Deep. You'll work your way down through the rocks and roots.

A number of turns down the trail and you'll have further options. Hang a left for the easy route or choose a number of cut-offs or drops for a progressively more difficult descent. They'll all link up directly below and then it's back to more roots and some great rock-rolls. Up ahead the trail feeds on to a raised ladder (some may call it a skinny) with just the touch of a drop at the end where it feeds onto a slab. You definitely won't need to send the drop, but make sure you don't get caught up on it either. If this all sounds awful there is kind of a messy ride-around through the brush on the right.

Speed off across an open ski-run where there is a small optional gap-jump across a drainage ditch before the trail sweeps back into the trees and picks up the Fatcrobat Connector. Follow the trail around to the left for a long ladder bridge that sits at a slight incline. On the other side of the same ski-run you'll get another opportunity for choices with a techy ride-around on the left or the park's longed skinny on the right. It has some high-points as it works down and much of it is skinny but it rides pretty well and can be managed in the wet if you're really careful. Not that it's very long and you may not have a great bail off at all points, so look at what you're getting into first.

The end of the trail switchbacks through berms and a few rough corners before ending on Expressway just below Blueberry Bathtub and a short ride above D1 and Too Tight.
