Description

Park at the Carter Lake south lot and hit the flat/wide accessible trail for less than 1/4 mile before bending around the first of many coves. The ride out is basically flat but very, very rocky and narrow in spots.

Expect a decent amount of water at the apex of the coves in springtime. Additionally, this area can get very hot in spots as the coverage is either zilch or full cover. You'll hug the reservoir the whole way out for nice views of the geo-features to the east that are seen by only watercraft!

This trail is good for intermediate-level riders looking to hone their skills before heading to Bitterbrush - Lower Section to break their derailleurs at Hall Ranch.
