Description

This trail is two short single tracks connected by the paved section of the red loop. It starts out with a rock garden that will be tough for beginners. Along the way there are several small log obstacles of various size. In some cases, the logs have been cut so you can skip them if you want.

A fence was added in 2015 to mark the edge of the MDC property. This changed the route slightly in the second section and eliminated a nice rock rollover.

Between the two sections of trail, there is a picnic area that has a nice flat rock that is about 10 inches high which is good to practice getting over.

There are lots of hikers on this trail and some of the view of the trail is obstructed by brush so watch your speed.
