Much of the west side of the gulch has been a recent park expansion for the City of Mukilteo. The city plans to make significant changes to the area to make it more accessible to multiple user groups. As of 2015 the trails remain in a pre-development phase.
Trails are multi-use and traffic should be expected in both directions. Construction and trail-maintaince require permission from City of Mukilteo. The center of the Gulch holds the BNSF train line, access to the train line is prohibited.
