Trail begins off of Monogram Road and the end of 1971. Starts with a downhill (straight goes straight down a steep decline, right takes a gradual descent with a couple switchbacks) and then goes along the bottom of the valley. There are quite a few roots in this section and two bridges over the creek. Take a left at the intersection and climb up to the fire road. Alternate Flight Pattern continues to climb up the other side and crosses over the fireroad two more times before taking a left down a white knuckle descent that ends at and intersects with Oaks Way and Hortons Loop.
