Overview

The Liberty Mountain Trail system is situated on the edge of Lynchburg, VA and spans about 5000 acres. The system currently supports over 50 miles of singletrack, doubletrack, gravel and logging roads, and more continue to be added. The trails range from mostly rocky and root-filled to steep, more difficult trails. Some of the trails are well marked, but many are not. It is helpful to take a map, or use the MTB Project mobile app, if you are unfamiliar with the area.

The main parking area is at the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center. There are some other parking options at Camp Hydaway and you can drive further in on Monogram Road if you are looking to park near a specific trail.
