Description

Yankee Run Trail is probably over a hundred years old, but when you construct a trail right (on the contour and out of rock) it will hold up forever. Actually, only the half below the Mid State Trail is benched in, but the upper chute is holding up pretty well, and the lower bit was rerouted in the Spring of 2014 to avoid some spring seeps.

The trail is ideally ridden as a downhill, but it is possible to ride all but the last pitch uphill if you so desire. The 200 yards below the Mid State is a serious rock garden, but is rideable if you pick your line carefully.
