Description

The Antelope trail is a mostly smooth, singletrack climb that leads up to the Bitterbrush junction, and eventually up to the Nelson loop. Many intermediate riders choose to start their Hall Ranch ride here in order to skip the steep, technical Rock Garden on the Bitterbrush trail. Antelope can also be a nice warmup for expert riders who then go down and back up Bitterbrush before riding the Nelson loop up top.

This route starts from a small trailhead off of Apple Valley road, and the trail is singletrack immediately from the trailhead. The climb is mostly gradual, with a few small rocks to ride over, and a few steeper sections with switchbacks.
