Description

Starting at the upper parking lot, head north past the playground. Past the playground, this trail will hug the treeline before descending to the levee along White River. The stretch along the levee is very straight, but quiet, and offers views of the surrounding floodplain along the White River.

Hiking and horse-only trails branch off of this trail to the east into the floodplain, and one of them heads west back to the trailhead. Follow this trail south further and the next westward intersection is the "easy" route back to the trailhead. Continue further south, and you can catch the Lenape Trail for a more difficult return to the trailhead.

Really more like a fire road, but easy to build up a ton of speed. I got to around 35 mph!
