Be prepared! PASS or TICKET (PAID) required if accessing trail from Gondola during Telluride Bike Park operating days and hours!

Need to Know

**Access to this trail via the Gondola mid-station requires the purchase of a XC or bike park pass to ride during Telluride Bike Park Operating days/hours. For 2022, that is 9 AM - 5 PM, 7 days/week, June 18 - September 18 daily and weekends only September 24 - October 9. Pass must be purchased online or at the Mountain Village ticket window.

Free access to this trail ONLY before 9 AM and after 5 PM when the bike park is closed.

Uphill travel is allowed and is always free!

Description

Hop off at the top of the gondola. Ride uphill on the doubletrack and pass the top of coonskin chairlift. Follow the signs for Prospect and Village trails and just follow the signage until you are on the Village Trail Proper.

From here the ride is a quick downhill/xc on easy terrain. Watch out though as this trail is often dry and loose.

Possible link ups include Jurassic to the Valley Floor or Boomerang road for a quicker return to town. Another option is riding back to the gondola and downloading or getting a few more laps in the bike park.

Beautiful views but very slippery. It would be much more fun after a rain. But otherwise good at practicing bike control on slippery gravel surfaces. 4mi

Beautiful and mellow. Fall colors are gorgeous. Several downed trees following wind storm. — 0h 45m
