Trail is subject to a USFS seasonal wildlife closure from 4/15 - 6/20 to protect deer and elk during calving season

Description

Great views of Vail through a pretty nice aspen forest, though not the most pristine in the area. Lots of loop possibilites with the North Trail (East) and Red Sandstone Rd. See the ride called Red Sandstone Rd to Son of Middle Creek.

Usually done as a descent, but totally climbable.
