Description

The Lair is a compact, dh-only multi-trail system designed with jump lines. Each line has its own skill level designation and is marked with a sign at the beginning of each trail.

You can get to The Lair from many different directions. If driving, just head like you're going to Phil's trailhead and just keep following the dirt road a few miles toward Tetherow Golf Club until you reach the parking lot. You can also easily get to The Lair off of Marvin's Garden (It's hard to miss the wood carving saying "The Lair."

This was a jump built for a contest in 2008 called the "Wham Bam Thank You Jam". It attracted top riders like Mike Montgomery who got scored by riding all of the trails at The Lair. This lip was brand new. Unknown to the riders there was a $500 bounty by Red Bull to the first rider to jump it.

This is the view from the bottom of the walk-up. All of the trails converge in this area so this trail keeps people from walking back up the jump line.
