W. Jefferson is mostly fun flowy slightly technical singeltrack all the way down to the campgrounds but there are 2 creek crossings that are typically walked.

Looking down after you've passed through the W. Jefferson bowl into the beautiful singletrack that leads back into the trees.

Just before you top out at Georgia Pass, stop, regroup, refuel, laugh with friends and enjoy the scenery. For a better way back down go right on W. Jefferson trail instead of going back down the way you came.

East side of Kenosha Pass has some very nice aspen cut throughs on the Colorado Trail as well.

You can still ride east on the Colorado Trail from Kenosha Pass for about 6.5 miles before it's foot traffic only. A challenging out and back ride with gobs of climbs both ways.

One of the first stunning overlooks where you can see 285 heading towards Fairplay - keep going for better views without asphalt!
