Overview

The Swanson Park trail is the original ride in this area, and it's a very popular one. With lots of climbs, drops and a few technical sections, Swanson Park has a lot to offer for both beginners, intermediate and advanced riders.

This course is used in the Psycowpath Race Series.

Description

The trail starts climbing soon after it leaves the trailhead. It heads to the west side of the park, then goes down a small drop and a short, steep, somewhat technical climb. It then winds around on a forested hillside, before ending up down in a ravine that can be muddy at times.

The trail eventually goes around the Firefighter training area, and goes down from there. Finally, there area series of small hops, and another small climb on the way back to the trailhead.

Trail condition overall was superb. There are some muddy sections up on the east hill that should be avoided.
