Laurel Mt Ski area parking and lodge are closed and inaccessible by car in summer.

This short connector provides groomed cross country ski access from the Laurel Mountain downhill ski area to the adjacent Forbes/Laurel Mountain trail network. This trail avoids much of the snowmobile traffic of Locust Trail and the steeper sections of the trails connecting to it.

Watch out for snowmobiles from the north end to Lodge and parking area. The Lodge offers XC ski rental as well as food and warmth in season.

Also used for hiking/mountain biking in summer to avoid those last downhill portions to Locust. Lodge and parking are not open or accessible in summer.
