Overview

Challenging, but short climbs rewarded by some of the best downhill in the Front Range. Taking all lefts, you get a double double. The last section of downhill will give you all the drops or you can take the less-challenging alternate lines.

Need to Know

Beware that the Floyd's DH Loop has some double black drops. If it's your first time down, take it slow so you can decide to use the alternate lines or hit the drops.

The back canyon loops have season closures to dogs. Not sure the exact dates but they put up signs when specific sections are closed to dogs.

Description

Climbing out of the parking lot, you take the front part of the Meadow Loop. Staying left at the hiking-only trail, you take Floyd's Loop to Winze and go left where you drop into Canyon View Loop and climb back out to Floyd's DH Loop. Enjoy.

1 - 1.5 hours moving time on average.

History & Background

Just didn't see the entire outer loop on MTBP so adding for those that want to know the elevation and mileage.
