Starts and ends at a parking area, returning on the main road, or you could backtrack on the Cottonwood Trail.
Description
Starts off on the wide, paved River Birch Trail then turns into a sandy singletrack on the Cottonwood Trail, continuing all the way down the river to and short connector on the Beaver Dam Trail. Here, you enter a swampy area on the Wetlands Trail and Highlands Trail. Coming out of the swamp, there is a large bridge over the marsh on the Boardwalk Trail before you get back on the singletrack Cottonwood Trail to another trailhead/parking area and take the road back to the start point.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
