Description

Unchained is one of the rowdier in Buena Vista's trail network. This hand-built singletrack connects Django, the Midland Trail and Bacon Bits (1450A). The trail features technical rock maneuvers, flowy segments, and a foray of twisty singletrack. Unchained offers a variety of features & B-lines, making it great for progression, although is not a good trail for beginners.

Unchained is best ridden east to west (from Bacon Bits (1450A) to Dango). The most direct route is to ride Midland Bike Trail out to Unchained, but taking Sausage Link & Bacon Bits (1450A) makes a great loop with some of the best singletrack in the area.

There is a bail-in/out around the two-mile mark that intersects the Midland Trail.
