Need to Know

This trail is part of the ongoing development of a bike park, funded by the City of Fruit Heights. Park only on the east side of 1800 E, opposite the houses (for now—a proper parking area will be developed). No restrooms.

Description

Start heading south from the road and take a marked left fork. Bear left for a very short climb with one technical section and a couple rollers. Ride the fire-break road until the trail drops off to the right. Stay left for some easy ups and downs.

Then come the "switchbacks," or rather, well-banked turns. Take them as quickly as you like, though the first one is pretty flat. There are a couple more rollers towards the bottom of the loop. Continue on the Shoreline Trail for just a minute until the trail breaks to the right. Climb up some easy, wide switchbacks to where you started. The trail is often marked with "no horses" signs.
