Description

I've only ridden this trail north to south on a bikepacking trip, but I could see riding it as an out-and-back from the trailhead as well.

From it's intersection with the Black Warrior Trail, the trail climbs steep singletrack to a saddle. Expect to push your bike at least a bit. The climb goes fast though, so don't despair. Once over the saddle, the trails starts off down some moderately loose, steep singletrack, which progressively smooths out into very fast, flowing trail as you get further down towards the trailhead. I honestly don't remember this section of trail very well, except that I had a big grin and watering eyes by the end.
