Need to Know

At the Dingleberry junction, there are two technical rock gardens. They both end up back on Red Line, but the wider garden to the right is the easier option, even though both are fairly difficult.

Description

Just follow the red blazes and get off whenever you want. It's essentially a highway that can access the whole area. Not all of this trail is black caliber, but there are some really challenging bits.

Starting from the Mill River side, the trail begins at the top of the Three Amigos and bears right at the junction with the white blazes. Next, head left and then right after that, which should bring you into a swampy area with a fun little rock feature that looks way harder than it really is.

Keep left, again, then right afterwards to begin climbing. Next comes a right turn and a left again to reach the summit and to begin the downhill.

After one more left, you reach the double rock garden. The one to the right is easier and wider, and the one to the left is more narrow, steep, and difficult.

Follow the red blazes from there until you come out on Sylvester Road.
