There is a very steep hill just after the entrance to the trail. There is an alternate singletrack route, Trillium Trail, with switchbacks to assist climbing and providing a more fun descent.

Description

A short Loop off Spring Beauty Trail, that is currently a mandatory detour due to construction on Spring Beauty Trail. This was formerly named the Trillium Trail, but new signage indicates this new name.

It's signed as a black diamond, but I would not classify it as such as it's mostly a doubletrack trail. It's most fun to ride the top and bottom halves with Trillium Trail in between to avoid the steep drop for some more singletrack.
