Richfield Park closes at sunset. A disc golf course runs through some of the trail, so beware of flying saucers.

Description

This trail can be traveled in either direction, but it's best to park at Richfield Park and head towards Pfeiffer University.

From the park, the trail starts out as a fire road but quickly becomes singletrack heading past the baseball field. After the baseball field, it changes back to fire road for a short distance until the bridge at the bottom of the hill. Out of the woods, you'll be met with a slight climb through an open field till you meet the road.

Follow the road north until there is a crossing and then you'll be back in the woods where you are met with some rocks and roots and another bridge crossing. At the end of this wooden section, you'll be on the campus of Pfeiffer University. Take the road crossing and immediately turn left onto the sidewalk. You'll see a house on your right and a road bridge on your left (the trail continues in between).

More rocks, roots, a punchy climb and a bridge will take you back out to the road where you'll take a left on the sidewalk and end at the "The Falcon Trail" sign.
