Overview
This is a great 160-meter high mine waste heap in the middle of the Ruhrgebiet. There are great trails here with the best views out over the nice and green area that was called Kohlenpott. On the north side of the heap are some downhill tracks, and at the bottom of the heap are a lot of XC trails in the forest close to Rotbachtal S0-S1.
Need to Know
Each jump has a ride-around.
Description
This loop starts with an easy uphill on gravel between trees. The top of the heap is not revegetated, only gravel. Directly at the top starts a short gravel downhill track that ends on a road that brings you to the entry of the
S-line downhill track after a few hundred meters. The beginning is not so steep but has a lot of jumps. The last 50% is steep and can be very fast.
