(320 m) From the village of Ottrot, take the start at the Harrenfeld car park and join the marked red and white trail. Continue the climb into the forest and then take the path left marked red and white round to join the path of the pilgrims marked with yellow crosses. Join the heights of the mountain and the square of the Grossmat to circle through the forest toward La Rothiach and back through Klingenthal.

Le Mont Saint-Odile est "le spot" incontournable en Alsace. La concentration de singletracks au m2 est exceptionnelle.

(320 m) Depuis le village d'Ottrot, prendre le départ au parking du Harrenfeld et rejoindre le sentier balisé rectangle rouge et blanc. Poursuivre la montée dans la) forêt puis prendre le chemin à gauche balisé rond rouge et blanc pour rejoindre ie| chemin des pèlerins balisé croix jaunes. Rejoindre les hauteurs du mont et le carre-) four du Grossmat.

(1: 650 m - 4,7 km) Go to the convent and exit the area by the path located east of the convent (east of the parking area) with red and white rectangular markings. It is also possible to go around the rock on which the convent is built, but the trail can be very busy (caution and right of way given).

At the Saint Jean Fountain, follow the signposted red and yellow circle trail that overlooks the road and quietly descends to the Bloss crossing. Pass close to the pagan wall. At the crossroads of the Bloss, continue on the GR5 on the right (marked red rectangle, round yellow and green), this part is very rolling and very pleasant. Facing due south, the area offers magnificent views of the plain of Alsace. Continue until you reach the road and the place called La Breimatt (100 m on the right).

(2: 667 m - 10.7 km) Continue on the trail with marked yellow crosses to the crossroads of the Schwarzenberg then continue on the track to the left always marked with yellow crosses. At the crossroads of the Neugruenrain, take the path of the terminals which go up slightly for 3 km. Before the high point of the exit, do not take the first blue cross path, continue to the forest road, take the road for 250m then turn 90 degrees to the right and find the blue cross path on the right which is the beginning of the final descent.

(3: 950 m - 14.9 km) The first part of the descent is fast and crosses the magnificent forests of small fir. After the second forest road, instead of Kreuzweg, continue along the signposted blue cross trail to the left (be careful, two paths and two trails also to the left). Continue the trail and climb up to the Ruins of Kaenfels castle. Look for two small, easy pins. Continue downhill on this same fast path (blue cross) towards the place called Vorbruck.

(4: 390 m - 21,5 km) At the bottom, the trail becomes more brittle and the last 100 m on the left are to be avoided. Cross the county road and follow the blue crossing signs to the village of Klinghenthal.

(1 : 650 m - 4,7 km) Aller jusqu'au couvent et sortir de la zone par le sentier situé à l'est du couvent (à l'est des parkings) balisage rectangle rouge et blanc. Il est aussi envisageable de faire le tour de la roche sur lequel est construite le couvent, mais le sentier peut être très fréquenté (prudence et priorité). A la fontaine Saint Jean, suivre le sentier balisé rectangle rouge puis rond jaune qui surplombe la route et descend tranquillement jusqu'au carrefour de la Bloss. Passer à proximité du mur paien. Au carrefour de la Bloss, poursuivre sur le GR5 à droite (balisé rectangle rouge, rond jaune et vert), cette partie est très roulante et très agréable. Orienté plein sud, le secteur offre de magnifiques points de vue sur la plaine d'Alsace. Continuer jusqu'à rejoindre la route et le lieu dit La Breimatt (100 m à droite).

(2 : 667 m - 10,7 km) Continuer sur la piste balisé croix jaunes jusqu'au carrefour du Schwarzenberg puis continuer sur la piste à gauche toujours balisé croix jaune. Au carrefour du Neugruenrain, prendre le chemin des bornes qui monte légèrement pendant 3 km. Avant le point haut de la sortie, ne pas prendre le premier sentier croix bleu, continuer jusqu'à la route forestière, emprunter la route sur 250m puis tourner à 90° à droite et retrouver le sentier croix bleu à droite qui annonce le début de la descente finale.

(3 : 950 m - 14,9 km) La première partie de la descente est rapide et traverse les magnifiques forêts de petit sapin. Après la seconde route forestière, au lieu di Kreuzweg, poursuivre par le sentier balisé croix bleu à gauche (attention 2 chemins et 2 sentiers partent aussi à gauche). Poursuivre le sentier et monter pour passer au dessus des Ruines du château Kaenfels. Aller chercher, entres autres, deux petites épingles faciles. Poursuivre la descente sur ce même sentier rapide et joueur (croix bleu) en direction du lieu dit Vorbruck.

(4 : 390 m - 21,5 km) En bas, le sentier devient plus cassant et les dernier 100 m sur la gauche sont à éviter. Traverser la départementale pour suivre le balisage croix bleu jusqu'au village de Klinghenthal.
