Description

This is the beginner loop of the professionally built trails at Avalanche. It links to more advanced hills on the east side of Avalanche. It also incorporates a few fun wood features to help build skills.

There are trail maps posted at all trail intersections. The trail also crosses a heavily used hiking trail in multiple places. Green posts with yellow warning signs mark walking trail intersections. Please look out for hikers at these points.

The trail also crosses old mountain bike trails (listed on MTB Project as Avalanche Bike Trail). There are red diamonds with white arrows that indicate the direction to stay on the new trail. The old trail can be ridden, but it is not well marked and is not well maintained.
