“An easy trail along the southern shore of Frankton Arm with views of Queenstown and the Remarkables Mountains.
”
Kelvin Peninsula Walkway is a gravel bike path connecting Frankton with Kelvin Heights along the shore of the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu. Together with the Frankton Arm Walkway, it traverses the whole shore of the Frankton Arm.
Kelvin Peninsula is a little narrower and slightly more difficult than the Frankton Arm Walkway, but it's still quite an easy ride. From this trail, you'll also have great views of Queenstown across Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu, and the Remarkables Mountains.
In Kelvin Heights, the route continues along the shore of Lake Wakatipu as the much more difficult Jacks Point Track.
