Description
Frankton Arm track is a typical wide gravel bike path connecting Queenstown and Frankton along the shore of the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu. Together with the Kelvin Peninsula Walkway it traverses the whole shore of the Frankton Arm.
It's useful for connecting some of the other trails in the area and it features views of the Remarkables Mountains to the south across the lake.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
