“An eastern trail that offers a family friendly forest ride to the lake.
”
Family Friendly
Wide open, beginner trail. Nice way to get used to some bumps for the kids, or other beginners!
Dogs must be leashed from April 15 to August 15.
Description
This well-maintained trail in Seierstenmarka is wide and smooth, and is the eastern route to Øvredammen, a small lake.
About 1/4 of the way in, there is a fenced dog park out in the forest, there is a high probability of meeting people walking their dog during this first section. The trail is nice and wide so it's not a problem.
This is a nice wide open trail that stays dry in most conditions. I bring my 6 and 9-year-old kids on this ride regularly and they both love it. The eastern side is a bit more bumpy, and more prone to getting muddy after rain than the western path.
There is a small climb at the very end that most people walk.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
