Be aware of poor trail markings and foot traffic on the upper sections.

Description

The upper section of this trail is rarely ridden as it runs from a bit of a dead zone and is very poorly marked (easy to get lost). It can be ridden and is actually more demanding technically than the lower section, but it tends to see more foot traffic by hikers cutting off of the more popular lower sections of other trails to cross over to another mountain hut that is 450 meters from the upper trailhead.

The lower section is much more popular and is usually ridden in combination with the upper section of Trail 18 which crosses paths with it near its halfway point. The more popular lower section does have a short stretch that runs on the dirt road 'Markeševečki makadam' but turns off of that quickly reverting back to singletrack.

As a whole, the trail is poorly marked, with red circles and a white dot in the the middle, but lacking indication of which trail number it is.
