Description

This trail (FS 4629) is a nice alternative to the road if looking to get to the Iron Mountain trail from the bottom. It starts out off of FSR 90 at a gate, and follows FSR 49071 for 0.4 miles before taking an abrupt turn off of it and straight up the mountain at over a 20% grade for a short distance. Just after that, the trail returns to a mellow climbing grade to the top.
