Description

While there are a number of fun sections on Rock Star, the trail is dominated by a large mandatory granite slab that perches on the side of the mountain. Check your comfort with the medium-sized rock-roll at the trail's entrance. If that's too much, don't proceed.

From there, a poppy table-top get things going before the singletrack wraps around a rocky outcropping and heads into the tech. There are a couple of possible lines when attacking the roll. The straightest options typically require more commitment at the top, but offer a cleaner exit. Fortunately the slab is pretty grippy (at least in the dry).

After the slab, the trail charges through a duffy run-out that feeds into a small drop. It's quite manageable as long as you didn't get kicked around too much higher up. The singletrack wraps up quickly by crossing the Summit Road to connect in the trees with Super G.
