The Poison Ivy Trail #114 connects with the Dismal River Trail #112 and the Fenceline Trail #115. Like other routes in this area, the trail surface is sandy, varying from hard-packed to loose.

The route is very energetic with plenty of twists, turns, climbs, and descents.
