“Climb through old growth forests to descend sweet singletrack.
”
The North Fork Walla Walla trail has some steep and consistent, climbable singletrack that will reward you with connections to some of the best flowing downhill trails you'll find anywhere.
Starting at Cub Saddle, the route drops into a fun descent to a bridge crossing the north fork of the Walla Walla River. From there, the trail becomes doubletrack for a while as it climbs up the river drainage. After heading through an encampment, the trail gets back to singletrack as it continues along the river, crossing it a few times before topping out on a road.
For a loop option and some descending on sweet singletrack, head over to Table Springs/Bear Creek.
