Description

The east end of this trail forks left from the Rangely Bike Path along Highway 64, near a small horse farm. The west end of the trail runs into Rio Blanco Co Rd 131.

There are several 4x4 trail options and slickrock options to explore. Some options include technical climbing/descending challenges as the 4x4s leave big ruts and take lines straight up and down some of the steep sections.

The western end uses an oil road, maintained for heavy equipment traffic, but still dirt, while the eastern end is 4x4 doubletrack. I've seen mountain lion tracks and scat along this trail, so be careful.
